Listen to the Living World

I’m joining the International Forest Bathing & Sound-walk Weekend.

Across the world, guides and communities will come together for local experiences centred on slowing down, listening and reconnecting with the living world.

On 12th September, I’ll be guiding a Soundwalk in Crams Farm, joining guides and communities around the world for a shared weekend of slowing down, listening and reconnecting with the living world.

My walk will take place:

A Sound-walk is similar to a Forest Bathing Walk with an invitation to experience a place through listening.

By moving slowly and paying attention to the sounds around us, familiar or unfamiliar places can be experienced in a different way.

• The purpose is not to identify every sound.

• The invitation is to listen.

Forest Bathing and Sound-walks are different practices, but both invite people to slow down, pay attention and deepen their relationship with place and the living world.

The International Forest Bathing & Sound-walk Weekend brings these experiences together through local walks taking place around the world.

Crams Farm: Crams Farm is a hidden gem situated south-west of Uki. It’s surrounded by Clarrie Hall Dam with views of Wollumbin.

‍Time: 10.30 - 12.00 midday

Donations are welcome for this event in line with Quiet Parks International and ANFT.

All donations taken will be given to “The Big Scrub”.

The Big Scrub is on the southern flank of the Wollumbin (Mt Warning) caldera. It descended from the ancient Gondwana rainforests.

Limited spaces - Bookings necessary.

A minimum of 4 participants for the event to go ahead.
